If you’re a teacher, you may be interested in working with our staff in the UK in your school. We have always found schools very helpful with fundraising, as well as interested in learning what we’re doing in Sierra Leone.
We have worked closely with Eleanor Palmer School in Camden and the Hall School in Hampstead. Working with students, we have tried to engage with their aspirations and try to show them that if there is something you want to change, then there are examples of young people who have gone on to make the change they want to see.
We believe that poverty of aspiration is a debilitating feature of experience, and is as damaging in the UK as it is in Sierra Leone! So if we can do some good in the UK, we are thrilled to be of use. Particularly if we get some fundraising capacity from the schools themselves!
Please get in touch with info@plantingpromise.org.uk if you’d be interested in working with our young, inspiring team (with CRB checks).
