At the moment we run 6 schools, including 5 primary schools and one nursery. We also run an adult education programme, which is attached to our school in Freetown.
Staff and Syllabus
All of our teachers are fully qualified and possess the nationally recognised Certificate of Education, and all our schools teach the national syllabus.
Eastern Central Freetown
Our site in Eastern Central Freetown contains a nursery, a primary school and our adult education programme. Around 90 children attend our nursery, and around 180 attend the primary school. The age range is between six and sixteen, as there are many older children who have never received any education.
The adult education programme gives evening classes to 16 women in literacy, numeracy and vocational skills.
We are also in the process of building a secondary school.
Maboraba, Sherifullah, Masasa, Teckaw
In January 2010 we opened three new primary schools in the villages of Maborab, Sherifullah, Masasa and Teckaw. These schools are attended by 120, 120, 150 and 370 pupils respectively.
